Our first album Harmony!

The first album of the unique duet :) Werbinska & Pawlina "HARMONY" has become a fact! At the first days of julay 2011 our new cd will be in sale on line and you can order it at: blazej@werbinskapawlina.com (if you like to have an autographed CD please let us know) and also in the internet shops (details on the subpage: music).

We surrender to you the first disk with “our music”. Album that is chamber, simple in its form but rich in emotion. It is an effect of the few years of our common work, maturing sounds and words, consernig our feelings and the way we receive the world around us.

On the cd you’ll find 10 our own compostions and one cover – jazz standard Summertime (played on the baritone guitar). Among them there are elements of the blues – for ex. in played on the dobro guitar Holdin’ on to the wind, gospel (Thankful), jazz-folk in bass pulsating title track Harmony or in the low sounding, little contrabass, lazy and mysterious I’m not tired. In the atmospheric Lullaby you can find the flamenco accent, and in the baritone Soldout are present the subtly smuggled African rhythm. Maybe the most surprised track is soul – chillout number Tomorrow I’l be better. The interesting composition and modern look on the chorus and the other percussion elements sound-imitative makes this album sounding different from the classic duet – guitar and vocal. With its whole diversity and the influence of many music genres album brings surprising atmosphere and stay in harmony, our own harmony …
